Tub evaporator (toaster) is intended for moist-and-heat treatment of degreased residue of oil-plants raw stuff (cake) aiming at removal of solvent residue from it as well as solvent residue itself. Tub evaporator (toaster) is an integral part of the equipment for extraction workshops producing plant oils. Tub evaporator (toaster) is a vertical column consisting of one or several sections (pans), which walls are heated with water vapour. There is a cap with fittings over the upper pan for the cake feed and taken out of solvent vapour. Under the bottoms of the pans there are collectors with the injectors for the direct water steam feed through the screens built in the bottoms. This enhances solvent topping and cake conditioning. For the processed raw stuff mixing and movement the unit is equipped with blade mixers rotated by the joint shaft. To control the level of the cake in the pans under continuous operation tub evaporator (toaster) is equipped with control valves, which construction enables measuring the level of the cake in every pan while operation. On request the temperature of the discharging product can be adjusted manually or by means of the automatic control system. Solvent vapour is discharged to the condenser through the fitting in the cap.
