Oil deodorization line is intended for extraction of odorants, which are substances odorizing and imparting a specific flavour to oil. Deodorization lines are manufactured and assembled both for continuous and cyclic operation.

Description of the oil deodorization line

Refined freezed-out oil from the tank Е4д is pumped with the pump Н6д through the heat-exchanger Т9д, where it is heated up to the required temperatures and is continuously pumped through the coils of the lower section of the oil deodorizer Е7д, where it is heated up to the technologically required temperature as a result of cooling of deodorized oil. The heated oil flows into the final heating tank Е6д. In the final heating tank Е6д the oil is heated up to the technologically required temperature with high-pressure vapour under vacuum for topping of most volatile components and for heat - exchange enhancement. High pressure vapour is generated in the steam generator with closed cycle ПГ12д. The heated oil flows into the thinly pellicle section of the oil deodorizer Е7д. Due to the extended surface of mass exchange, which is produced with a help of a special packing, the oil contacts with vapour in the thin film, which enhances carry-over of fatty acids and other foreign matters and minimizes steam consumption. After the thinly pellicle section the oil sequentially passes through two ageing sections of the oil deodorizer Е7д, where it is exposed to direct water steam, high temperature and high vacuum. The deodorized oil in the lower section of the oil deodorizer Е7д in the process of direct water steam bubbling is cooled as a result of the incoming oil heating. Out of the oil deodorizer Е7д the oil is pumped with the hermetic pump Н8д through the heat exchanger Т9д, where it is cooled with the incoming oil. Then the deodorized oil is cooled with recirculated water in the heat exchanger Т10д. The cooled oil is pumped through one of the control filters Ф11.1д(Ф11.2д) and then it is pumped out for storage. The vacuum system is a multistaged steam jet ejector system ПБ16д with two mixing condensers. To reduce contamination of the vacuum system and of the barometric well the vapour from the deodorizer flows to the scrubber Е13д, where it sprayed with cooled distillate deodorization for fatty acids condensation. Fatty acids settle. From the scrubber Е13д fatty acids are pumped with the pump Н14д through the heat-exchanger Т15д, where they are cooled with water. Fatty acids circulate around the circuit Е13д – Н14д – Т15д – Е13д. Excess of fatty acids is from time to time removed into the storage tank.
